Bulldogs Lead the Way
Camden High School is very committed to community service and involvement. Year after year, students and staff raise in excess of $50,000 for various organizations. Our Student Council provides the leadership in collecting thousands of dollars during United Way Spirit Week. Camden High's volleyball teams sponsor "Dig Pink" to raise funds for breast cancer research and education. Our Relay for Life team leads the way in raising funds for the Relay for Life.
All organizations have at least one fundraising event for charitable organizations such as the Kershaw Community Medical Clinic, Food for the Soul, and Christian Community Ministries. Thousands of pounds of canned foods are collected each year by members of Beta Club and National Honor Society.
Our Commitment to Excellence permeates our dedication to community service. Students donate over 5,000 hours of their time each year to various community groups. Hundred of athletes and other students participate in Read Across America each year at area elementary schools. JROTC cadets volunteer at the local animal shelter and participate in the Adopt-A-Highway program. The PAWS art club creates artwork for community displays.
