  • Honors Geometry

Posted by Anne Lemieux on 1/22/2018

This fall, my Honors Geometry classes had two special guests: Mrs. Donna Royson and Ms.Cindy Bundrick. These ladies helped students make a real-life connection to transformations. We spent time talking about how quilts were made and how reflections, rotations, and translations affect the look of quilts. The students got the opportunity to create their own quilt squares from start to finish. The completed quilt squares were made into this class quilt.
