Notes from the School Nurse
Student medication must be signed out by a parent or guardian from the health room by 11:30 am on Tuesday, May 30th.
After this date, all medication will be destroyed, as we do not store medication over the summer.
Medications will not be sent home with the student.

ATTENTION 7TH GRADE PARENTS
IMMUNIZATIONS REQUIRED FOR SCHOOL
South Carolina immunization laws require all students entering 7th grade be immunized with a tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine booster called TDAP after their 7th birthday.
If your child has not had this vaccine, please contact your health care provider and make arrangements to get the vaccine. If your child has had this vaccine, please send an updated immunization record to the school nurse.

The Kershaw County School District will begin implementing clear bag procedures Dec. 1 for middle and high school extracurricular activities as an added safety measure.
You may bring a clear plastic bag no larger than one gallon or a clear plastic tote no larger than 12x6x12.
Small clutches no larger than 4.5 - 6.5 inches
Medically necessary equipment (after inspection at the gate)
Keys, wallets, phones, credit cards, and cash may be carried in pocket or by hand.
