     Hi! I am Toni Cockrell and have taught middle level math for 32 years. This is my second year of teaching 6th grade math. Teaching middle school students is a lot of fun and no two days are ever alike! I LOVE MY JOB! I am also very passionate about working with teachers entering the education profession. I earned a bachelor's degree in Education from Troy University in Troy, AL and a master's degree in Education from Troy University located in Dothan, AL. I am certified and highly qualified in Middle Level Math. Also, I have a Gifted & Talented endorsement. One of my goals is to show my students that math is everywhere in our world. I want them to make many connections to everyday situations and gain a true understanding of math concepts and the role math plays in our daily lives.

     My husband, Greg and are proud parents of our four grown children. We also have nine awesome grandchildren: 6 boys and 3 girls, and two spoiled cats. Our grandchildren attend public schools in Greenville, SC, Richland-Lexington 5, and in Geneva, AL. Greg and I love spending time with family and friends, creating recipes, and traveling when possible.
