Students in grades 3-5 will be taking the SC Ready state assessments as we close out the school year. Please help us ensure a positive testing experience for everyone by
- not scheduling appointments on these days
- going to bed on time and getting plenty of rest
- eating a nutritious breakfast
- arriving at school on time
- Electronic Policy: students and monitors may not be in possession of a cell phone, smart watch or any other electronic device that can be used for communicating, recording, timing, creating images, or storing images during testing.

April 8, the first day back to school after KCSD’s Spring Break, falls on the same day of the solar eclipse crossing North America. Kershaw County School District plans to operate on a regular schedule that day.
