At its March 21 meeting, the Kershaw County School Board adopted a resolution to support shopping locally and to encourage its employees to do the same. The resolution states that dollars spent in Kershaw County support the local economy and provide funding for schools and that the one-cent sales tax that was approved by voters in November will provide additional funds for improved school facilities.
In this photo, school board members look on as School Board Chairman Ron Blackmon signs the resolution.
