In its 39th year of honoring the nation's most elite high school athletes for excellence on and off the field of play, Gatorade today announced Joyce Edwards of Camden High School in Camden, S.C. is the 2023-24 Gatorade National Girls Basketball Player of the Year. Edwards joins an impressive group of former Gatorade National Girls Basketball Players of the Year who have combined for more than nine WNBA MVP awards, 53 All-Star appearances, 15 WNBA championships, 15 WNBA first round draft picks and two became Hall of Famers.
April 8, the first day back to school after KCSD’s Spring Break, falls on the same day of the solar eclipse crossing North America. Kershaw County School District plans to operate on a regular schedule that day.
Math tutoring is available four days each week from 3:30-5:30. Students who need assistance in Algebra I may seek help on Mondays and Wednesdays with Mrs. Ferrugia in Room 210. Students who need assistance in other math courses may seek help on Tuesdays and Thursdays with Mrs. Chang in Room 601.
There is no cost for the tutoring. Students do not need to sign up in advance. We will continue our tutoring daily during our Enrichment time as well.
